Using this expertise, the Duke Robotics team created a unique high-end technology solution – a six degrees of freedom parallel robotic system that works in real time and can stabilize objects up to triple its weight.

TIKAD’s unique robotic stabilization platform permits a payload to “float” against rotations in all three axes, as well as against vibration and motion in all three directions of movement.

In many combat scenarios, Duke Robotics believes that one or more TIKAD drones will be able to provide necessary cover and tactical advantage for troops. Duke’s leadership also believes that TIKAD may reduce the number of troops needed on the battlefield and may limit broad collateral damage in urban environments.

The Duke Robotics management team has extensive experience in the UAV and robotics fields, as well as experience in the Israeli Special Missions Unit (SMU). Their expertise is based on years of developing complex military airborne systems, advanced robotics, real-time software and innovative user interface technologies.

Duke Robotics believes that their DKL-MK-1-SU robot can bring solutions that do not yet exist for different tasks that require high-end stabilization, such as:

  • Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) robotic landing systems for drones.

Raziel Atuar, Lt. Col. (Reserves)

Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As former Special Mission Unit commander, Mr. Raziel Atuar holds first-hand experience in the battlefield over many years, during which he has seen how the needs of our troops in our battlefield have changed.

Leadership & Military Background

  • From 1998 to 2004, Mr. Atuar served in the IDF Special Missions Unit (SMU) where he planned and directed covert operations, and additionally received an Excellence Award for his outstanding work.
  • From 2005 to 2013, Mr. Atuar served as a Special Agent with the Israeli Secret Service on complex missions in foreign countries. From 2013 to 2014, Mr. Atuar provided commercial consulting and management services to IMI LTD (Israel Military Industry).
  • Mr. Atuar holds a B.A in Geography from Haifa University and M.F.A in Film Studies from Tel-Aviv University.
  • In 2014, Mr. Atuar joined as Co-Founder to Duke Airborne Systems LTD before becoming the CEO of Duke Robotics Inc in 2016.

 

Sagiv Aharon

Co-Founder, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), President & Director

Mr. Sagiv Aharon founded Duke Airborne Systems Ltd in 2014. Mr. Aharon leads product development and technological vision as the president and CTO of Duke Robotics Inc.

Technology & Defense Systems Background

  • From 2008 to 2010, Mr. Aharon worked at the Israeli Aerospace Industry (IAI) as a structural design engineer on a classified hybrid structure (composite/metal) air vehicle.
  • From 2010 to 2011, Mr. Aharon worked for Rafael Advanced Weapon Systems as a mechanical design engineer for complex active/reactive armor solutions for land vehicles.
  • From 2011 to 2012, Mr. Aharon worked for Elbit Systems Ltd (NASDAQ: ESLT) as a mechanical design engineer and a system integrator at several remotely operated weapon systems upon land vehicles.
  • From 2012 to March 2014, Mr. Aharon served as the CEO of Axis Aerospace Mechanical Design Ltd, where he worked in the field of airborne structural projects and flight experiments following strict aerospace-level quality standards (AS9100).
  • Sagiv Aharon holds a B.Sc. in mechanical engineering with a specialty in control and robotics from the Technion Israel Institute of Technology.

 

Amir Kadosh

Co-Founder, Chief Logistics Officer (CLO)

Mr. Amir Kadosh has a diverse background in military, business, and law. He provides Duke Robotics with an important perspective and advocates for military technology advances that increase our troops’ chances of success.

Business Logistics & Legal Background

  • From 1996 to 1999, Mr. Kadosh served in IDF (Israel Defense Forces) in the Special Missions Unit (SMU), participating in classified covert operations.
  • From 2001 to 2006, Mr.Kadosh served as a member of the Embassy Security team on missions in foreign countries.
  • From 2007 up 2011, Mr. Kadosh served as a Special Agent with the Israeli Secret Service.
  • From 2012 to 2014, Mr. Kadosh worked as a lawyer, specializing in commercial and corporate law.
  • During 2014, Mr. Kadosh joined as a co-founder to Duke Airborne Systems LTD. Since 2016, Mr. Kadosh has served as the CLO of Duke Robotics Inc, overseeing the company’s logistical needs.
  • Mr. Amir Kadosh holds a LL.B. degree in law and business management from IDC Herzelia (Interdisciplinary Center Herzliya).

The Story Behind the TIKAD:

“When they (terrorists) operate, they operate within the civilian population,” said former battalion commander and CEO of Duke Robotics Raziel Atuar. “You cannot shoot a missile into a targeted area. The only solution you have is sending in the troops, but the collateral damage will be too high and you want to prevent mass casualties. We thought, ‘what if…what if there was a better way’. So we created that solution: the TIKAD.

With the mission to save lives and to empower troops with immediate air power deployment, Duke Robotics has developed the TIKAD — The Future Soldier — a high-powered drone capable of carrying various light weapons payloads, with pinpoint targeting and shooting accuracy that can protect troops in a variety of dangerous situations.

The classic army versus army confrontation has become increasingly rare, while guerrilla warfare is now commonplace. The use of UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) to fire small arms from the air has not yet been a viable option. Until now.

Use of Proceeds


Assuming a successful offering of all of our Offered Shares for maximum aggregate gross proceeds of $15,000,000, we anticipate that our use of proceeds will be used for our commercialization efforts for our robotic products; research and development efforts; outstanding liabilities, and working capital.

The foregoing information is an estimate based on our current business plan. We may find it necessary or advisable to reallocate portions of the net proceeds reserved for one category to another, and we will have broad discretion in doing so. The SEC now permits Regulation A (also called Reg A+) offerings to take on investors who are unaccredited as well as accredited investors. An accredited investor is an individual who has a net worth in excess of $1MM (excluding his or her primary residence) or has had an annual income in excess of $200,000 ($300,000 if joint income) for the past two years and reasonably expects that to continue.

If you are a non-accredited investor, you may invest but will be limited to investing no more than the greater of 10% of your net worth or 10% of your annual income.
